MEET NIKKI
The Human Behind Sussex Super Dogs
-

For me, dog grooming has never been just about making dogs look beautiful. It's about understanding each dog as an individual, taking the time to get to know them, and making their grooming experience as positive and comfortable as possible.

Having spent over a decade working with puppies and dogs, I understand that no two dogs are the same. Every dog has their own personality, preferences and needs, which is why I believe in a personal, one-to-one approach to grooming.

My approach is simple: quality over quantity. I want every dog in my care to receive my full attention, with the time and patience needed to achieve the best possible results without unnecessary stress or rushing.

I'm passionate about the details, from achieving a beautiful finish to recognising when a dog needs a little extra reassurance.

For me, a successful groom isn't just about how a dog looks when they leave, but how they feel throughout the grooming experience, too.

Having trained in both dog grooming and dog training, I bring an understanding of canine behaviour into my work. This helps me appreciate the importance of patience, communication and adapting my approach to suit the individual dog in front of me.

Outside of my work, I'm a mum to two young children and a dog and chicken owner myself, so I know just how much our dogs and animals mean to us. They're part of the family!

Sussex Superdogs is a reflection of the way I believe dog grooming should be: personal, considered and focused on getting the very best out of each visit.
